Night Owl!

I wanted to play with buttons and wire so I googled to see if what I had imagined had been done..and it had. In the search I also turned up these cute owls at SodaHead.com I knew I had to make one so went searching for something round and found these clock faces. Love how it turned out :)
I poked a hole in the clock face, strung wire through a seed bead to hold the flower (beak) in place, then strung the same wire through the button shanks to hold the buttons (eyes) in place, and added a loop in-between for the chain to go through. I cut a second clock face in half for the wings. For the eye ruffle and tail I cut a smaller clock face in half and then one of those in hlaf again. I think it turned out cute. Thanks for stopping by!
